Ma'an Academy is a non-profit institution/academy that aims to help everyone
who wants to learn Arabic in an ingenious and more interesting way. At Ma’an
Academy we will be using the montessori approach to teach children the Arabic
language. Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed
activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms
children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the
highly trained teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.
Ma'an Academy is established by a group of educators and parents who value the
importance of the Arabic language. Allah elevated the status of the Arabic language
above all languages by revealing the Holy Quran in It’s eloquent and rich words.
(إِنَا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ)
سورة يوسف آيه ٢
(Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran so
that you can understand) 12:2
Therefore, it’s important for us to help our children, youth and adults to learn the Arabic language to better understand the Quran.
To empower students to build life skills and embrace their full potential in learning the Arabic language.
The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind.
Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our mission is to instill a love of learning Arabic for the spiritual growth of students.
Our main purpose to establish Ma’an Academy was to provide the community with
a rich Arabic program that is taught in an interactive, fun and easy way using
Maria Montessori’s approach. The Montessori approach will support us to instill
the love of learning the Arabic language in our next generation. Loving the Arabic
language and deeply understand it, will allow our children to better understand the
Holy Quran.
At Ma’an Academy we believe that languages are learnt best by immersion.
Learning by immersion is the most natural way humans can learn, so our students
will be fully immersed in the Arabic language during their time at the Academy,
which will lead to faster learning, deeper understanding of the Arabic language,
and helping our students to appreciate the language.
to learn a language the child must live with those who speak it, otherwise he
will not be able to.
